Meet the RPC — NRA 2026

Over at the Taurus booth at NRAAM 2026, the new RPC 9mm is drawing some attention and it doesn’t take long to see why.

At its core, this is a roller-delayed PCC, clearly inspired by classic designs like the MP5, but with a few modern upgrades baked in.

Most noticeable right away is that Taurus didn’t just copy the look. They went with a true roller-delayed system. Even better, it includes last-round bolt hold open, which is something missing from older designs and makes a real difference in usability.

The all-new Taurus RPC has an MSRP of $939.99.

The controls are fully ambidextrous, including the mag release, bolt release, and safety, and the non-reciprocating charging handle can be swapped to either side depending on shooter preference.

It’s a compact setup, especially with the folding brace. The RPC runs a 4.5-inch threaded barrel, making it suppressor-ready out of the box, and Taurus includes components to tune the system depending on ammo or suppressed use.

Up top, you’ve got a full-length Picatinny rail, while the handguard offers M-LOK slots for adding lights or other accessories. The rear features a Pic rail for attaching a brace or configuring it however you want.

The gun feeds from 32-round proprietary magazines, and each one ships with two included.

At its core, this is a roller-delayed PCC, clearly inspired by classic designs like the MP5, but with a few modern upgrades baked in.

Ergonomics lean familiar, with an AR-style overmolded grip and a flat-faced trigger. The trigger has a longer pull but feels solid for this type of platform.

Weight comes in around 4.5 pounds, and overall length is just over a foot, keeping everything tight and manageable.

It’s a straightforward concept. Take a proven operating system, modernize the controls, and package it into a compact, configurable platform.

And from a quick hands-on look, that’s exactly what Taurus did here. MSRP is $939.99.
